Foresight Services, LLC offers comprehensive onsite farm assessments throughout North America to help farmers learn of farm tools and methods to give their body a break. Farmers with physical limitations or disabling conditions due to injury, illness or aging will learn of farm-specific methods and tools to help them continue their occupation. A report including cost estimates and vendors for all onsite farm assessment suggestions will be provided following the assessment. In states such as Michigan that have active AgrAbility Projects, farmers can receive cost-free farm site assessments from their state. The AgrAbility Project was created to assist people with disabilities employed in agriculture. The project links the Cooperative Extension Service at a land-grant university with a private nonprofit disability service organization to provide practical education and assistance that promotes independence in agricultural production and rural living. The AgrAbility Project assists people involved in production agriculture who work both on small and large operations. The Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES),an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, administers the grAbility Project.
